The alp with its own dairy and panoramic views, easily reached via the forest trail from the Acherkogelbahn top station in about 30 minutes. Home made butter and cheese. Hot meals throughout the day. Walk from here to the old halfway station in about 35 minutes.

The registered German Alpine Club (Bielefeld Section) offers rest, comfort and a feast of food at its hut at the foot of the Acherkogel (3,008 m.). A visit to the Bielefeld Hut is a "must" for every walker. There are magnificent views of the Tyrolean mountains, easy to reach within half an hour from the upper station.
