Mountains, waters & action included

The family-friendly Oetz holiday region proudly presents WIDI's super groovy summer program, containing a truly varied blend of mountains, waters, action and recreation. Children aged between four and ten years enjoy nature with all their senses, professionally looked after from Monday to Friday. They learn interessesting things about our regional herbs with Kasimir the herb hero, romp around on a Water Day, visit a beekeeper or bake hearty bread at the Mill in Piburg. The summer program is even free of charge for all young guests staying at a WIDI partner accommodation.

From 01.09.-18.10. the programme is available on Tuesdays and Thursdays for children aged 3 and over.

WIDIs kids program from 9.00 am to 4.00 pm is included for guest children from WIDIs partner accommodations..

Taster Horseback Riding

Every Monday

In the morning we head to Mareil. Two magnificent Icelandic horses are already waiting for us at Almhof. We then take turns riding across the alpine pastures. Of course there is also plenty of time for fun games. In the afternoon, we round off the day at the forest playground, which is all about oxen. All the family is welcome today.

Honey adventure

Every Tuesday

A 1 km walk takes us to Habichen where we meet beekeepers Helmut & Agnes, who will show us a beehive and tell us everything worth knowing about the work of bees in a child-friendly way. At the beehive, the children will also receive a beekeeper's jacket and gloves. An eventful day for the entire family, exploring the fabulous world of bees.

It is important to wear long trousers and closed shoes.

WIDI's survival day

Every Wednesday

Hey kids! It's me, WIDI! I am really into adventure and nature, so today we will learn how to sneak through the forest on silent claws and past tricky obstacles that we will overcome together. Our compasses will put us back on the right track. Making a fire with flintstone, a giant marble run and a lot more can be tried out today.

Mud & splash day with Elfi the owl

Every Thursday

Listen intently to Elfi, the little owl, and find out how she became the savior of the Starry Forest with a little courage. An easy walk takes us to lake Habicher See. On the way we collect things from the forest and use them to make wonderful works together with Elfi's friends, the forest animals. On hot summer days we play in the mud and cool our feet in the cold lake water.

Don't forget to bring a towel and a change of clothes!

Baking bread for children in the mill

Every Friday (12.07 - 30.08)

Today, Max the miller invites us to visit his mill! We walk on foot from Oetz up to lake Piburger See. Once we reach the mill, Max will tell us the magical mill fairytale and then every child can bake their own bread! (An exciting alternative program without bread baking takes place outside the specified period)

Age groups

Week program schedules and hiking tours depend on the age of the kids. Suitable for children from 4 to 10 years.

From 01.09.-18.10. the programme is available on Tuesdays and Thursdays for children aged 3 and over.

Meeting point & start

Monday to Friday
We meet in WIDIs Summer Nest at the Oetz adventure pool from 9:00 am and start our program exactly at 9:30 am.

Full-day child care: 9:00 am – 4:00 pm

Please bring

Sturdy footwear, all-weather clothes, sunscreen. All kids bring their own rucksack with enough food and drink. This is important to plan the day in the most flexible way.

A certified team of child experts takes care of all children.
Our child care experts speak German and English.

Hikes

Every day, hikes or walks are scheduled. Therefore, the children should wear sturdy hiking boots and be able to walk 2-3 kilometers!

Rainy Weather

Depending on the weather, the program may be subject to change! Please always bring your rainwear and we will have fun in all weather.

For all children who have participated in the program for 3 or more days, a sheepy-strong WIDI gift is waiting!

Fees

€ 35.00 per child/day (on presentation of the Guest Card)
Tickets for bus and gondola rides are included only for kids!

Free of charge for young guests staying at one of the WIDI partner lodgings.

Family Day

Of course, also mummies and daddies or grandmas and grandpas or other relatives can join the daily kids' program. Spend a wonderful family day together with your beloved. Please let us know in advance and don't forget to bring your camera.
