As an alternative starting point, you can take the Zentrum Shuttle and follow the Ausserwaldstraße towards Innerwald. A direct path leads through the Innerwaldstraße to Infang, where you can start your hike.
From Stiegele, the forest road leads through partly dense forest to the Gaislach huts.
First you will reach the Gasthof Sonneck. From there you follow the flat forest road on to the Gaislachalm and then you reach Silbertal.
From up there you can enjoy a wonderful view over the Venter valley.
Gasthof Sonneck, Gaislachalm and the Silbertal are open all winter and have no days off!
