This varied and easy alpine tour starts at the Sennhof car park in Niederthai, the sun terrace of the Ötztal at an altitude of 1.550 m. Walk past the hamlets of Ennebach and Überfeld to the hamlet of Lehen (football field). Follow the broad forest trail to the left. At the beginning the path to Mauslesattel is quite steep and demanding but later the route has almost no change in elevation or even slightly descending sections. Hiking through dense woods and lush green alpine pastures you reach the snack station Wiesle.

In the snack station Wiesle, the excursion destination, mainly products of local farmers are served. In addition to a sun terrace for energy tanks, the little ones also get their money's worth on a children's playground. Alternatively, the car park near the football field in the hamlet Lehen is also a starting point.

The Tour starts in Niederthai at the car park Sennhof, near the Tourist Information. Walk past the hamlets of Ennebach and Überfeld to the hamlet of Lehen (football field). Follow the wide forest trail to the left. At the beginning the path to Mauslesattel is quite steep and demanding but later the route has almost no change in elevation or even slightly descending sections. Hiking through dense woods and lush green alpine pastures you reach Jausenstation Wiesle (Snack Station). Another optional starting point is the car park next to the football field in the hamlet of Lehen.

 

Public transport

Travel safe and comfortable with the train to the Ötztal Bahnhof train station. Last stop and exit point is the

train station Ötztal Bahnhof. Afterwards you can travel smoothly and quick with the public transport or our local

The car drive to the Ötztal valley. Situated in Tirol, the Ötztal valley set off in southerly direction and is the

longest side valley in the Eastern Alps. The journey with the car leads you through the Inntal valley to the

entrance of the valley and further on through the valley. Among the toll motorways you can also use the country
