From the parking lot in Winklen / Au near Längenfeld follow the road in the direction of Winklen to the signpost Geolehrpfad / Naturlehrpfad. The path leads through meadows at the beginning, but flows directly into dense forest scattered by towering granite boulders. Although the tremendous rock fall is already 10,000 years ago, the tracks are still clearly visible today. Along the entire route, geology is clearly explained on 11 educational boards. In a "fairytale forest" a walk-in witch's house must not be missing. Similarly, one finds many groomed forest inhabitants on the way to Winkelbergsee. Directly on the lake is waiting for a natural water playground which awakens the desire to play for young and old. The descent takes you over the forest or a forest trail back to Winklen to the parking lot.
