Gries is situated at 1,600m above sea level, on Längenfeld's "first floor". Thanks to its high Alpine location snow is always guaranteed until late spring.

Lenght: 10 km classic style, 5 km skating style
Degree of difficulty: intermediate
Start/Aim: From the car park at the edge of the village you follow the considerably sloping terrain for some 10 km before you return to the starting point. A warm-up track with almost no change in altitude is available as well.
